shocking build quality
6 of 7 found this helpful Poor standard all round to be honest, rubbish filter that cannot cope with 300ltr of water and fish if fully stocked, no media supplied with the filter just a basic poor quality sponge, the heater doesn't do anything via its control, its just a full on 78 degrees, the pump is too powerful and turns the water over every 10 minutes and not every 30, the cabinet is pretty flimsy to be honest compared to our last tank, and the built quality is shocking with blobs of silicone hanging down and messy finishing off, the sealed plugs need cutting off to get them through the holes in the top of the tank, and the leads aren't long enough to get the plugs into the tank, and I mean not long enough by 3-400mm not by a bit......not that it would matter anyway as the hole in the cupboard underneath isn't big enough to allow a plug to pass through it anyway............oh and when you lift the lid up to access the filter media (not supplied) water drips down the back of the tank, therefore at some point ruining your backdrop.........and the light bar supplied is very very harsh...................other than that its a top quality purchase and worth every penny.................buyer beware to be honest.
