Quality at a fair price

I wanted something reliable and at a reasonable price. Kingston memory has been achieving this for 30 years or more, this item seems to live up to its pedigree.

cheap but hard to fit.

The strut has a mounting bracket, not as shown (in centre of pivot) but trailing 20mm behind. This means that the gas strut assembly fouls on the mounting screws. To fit you need to chop lumps of steel off the bracket, just to get it into position. I'm an engineer and it took me 1 1/2 hours to fit! I fitted one of the type shown in 5 minutes last year.

Views from a beginner

I've just taken up fly fishing and need all the help I can get. These flies are great, they work for me and the bonus is that because of their size I can easily see them when casting. The fish also love them, great when other flies fail.
