Nintendo DS Lite console

This was purchased for our youngest son as he wanted to 'battle' against me if I got a DS Lite too! It's a great purchase - as from an economic point of view, we are able to use our older Game Boy Advance games on it(some of which are half the cost of some DS titles). It's also great to see that some of the 'classic' game characters like 'Rayman'/ Pokemon are still available for the DS Lite. Some graphics and possible gaming strategies are compromised due to the processing capabilities of the system - but still work as bright colourful images. It's pretty user friendly - although the 'touch' screen seems to vary between the top or bottom one - possibly dependent on whether it's a DS game cartridge or a Game Boy Advance one. I love the 'touch' option and chances to do 'Brain' training exercises in a convenient portable package. Also like the fact it is re-hargable as you end up spending more time on it than you realise! It's great that you can change the shells;as there are some great colours realised over the years - along with possible mis-haps /wear and tear on cases. However I have found that the 'recommended' tri-wing screw driver specifically sold for that purpose - doesn't appear to fit the console screws! - so having to look for a thinner one. It's exactly what it says re weight - very light and compact - and wonderful feel of the case when closed and carried. I think it's a great international gaming resource and has software suitable for all ages and abilities.

Considerate modelling!

These glues are almost as good as many of the more normal 'smelly' glues, and, if you buy the two grades as I did, you are ready for most normal plastic kit construction. The big plus point with these two polystyrene cements is that they have a reasonably pleasant orangey smell, so you should not get complaints from anyone else in the same room, although you should still make sure that you have plenty of ventilation.
