Rugged sealed charger

We run a 40 AHr LifePO4 battery for our car fridge. I have a high performance charger in the car, and a solar charger for camping, but wanted a backup AC top-up charger. The Battery Tender 800 was a lot cheeper than the alternatives. It is an automatic rugged, sealed charger. Its not particularly powerful, or fast for a 40 AHr battery - which took about 2 days before it was fully charged and topped off - but that was all I needed. Something to top-up the battery from time to time so it doesn't loose its charge when its not being used. It may not be particularly useful at an overnight powered camp site, because its just not fast enough, but its perfect for the garage.

iPhone 4s battery easy to change

Recently my daughters iPhone 4s' battery died. Having already paid $160 to replace an iPad battery I was relieved to discover these battery replacement kits on eBay for such an affordable price. The procedure is relatively easy. There are plenty of good video clips on Youtube to follow. Watch out for the small retaining clip. cup you hand over it when you remove it to prevent it form flying off. This kit has more stuff than you need for this job, but that's fine. It will come in handy for other repairs. I wish Apple still made it products as serviceable as the iPhone 4s.
