The Marx Brothers Silver Screen Collection (Blu-ray Disc, 2016, 3-Disc Set)

    Brilliant comedy. Great movie prints.
Years before alternative comedians discovered anarchic comedy, the Marx Brothers were doing a perfect ensemble version. I love it. Just fabulous to see prints of their movies in this quality.
Lost: The Complete Fifth Season Blu-ray (2009) Naveen Andrews cert 15 5 discs

Some of the best television in the last 20 years.
The best way to watch Lost is to go back in time and catch the show as it was broadcast. It was brilliant and a good part of that was the chatter and speculation around it as each episode came out. That's all over now, but it remains amongst the best TV of the last 20 years. I watched it in SD originally, in HD(ish) as it's streamed by Amazon, and now on Blu Ray.
Blu Ray NOTTING HILL. Julie Roberts, Hugh Grant. Brand new sealed.

Well worth it for fans of Richard Curtis
Once you get over the portrayal of Notting Hill as a cosy place where the poverty-stricken can somehow maintain a comfortable middle-class life amidst the loveable working folk, this is an oddly enjoyable story. I had the DVD a while back but lost it somewhere. This Blu-ray version isn't vastly different in quality and certainly doesn't have the clarity and balance of the best, but then, it doesn't really need it to tell this story - and it isn't bad!
