This WILL cut it! :)
Finally a small easy to handle 115mm angle grinder, that just won't quit!
I've bought several leading brand names, as well as cheaper grinders too ALL which after a few days work of cutting of grinding either went pop, or failed in some other way.
This one though has done everything - so much work these last few days not only cutting through thick steel but also completing varied grinding tasks too.
It's such a relief to be able to have got all the jobs done with this superb little angle grinder, AND it's still working just great, ready more work!
Highly recommended if you've not only got light duty work to do or even some heavy stuff too, this can cut it!

5 of 5 found this helpful Quite simply, if you want a heavy duty angle grinder then buy this!
I had a lot of cutting and grinding work to do on a trailer and when my old existing angle grinder went pop, I made the mistake of buying a cheapo grinder for £19.99, that blew up after 5 minutes usage!
I searched for a better quality and proper 'heavy duty' angle grinder, and by chance came across this Bosch PWS 700-115.
Out of the box and it's worked virtually for 2 hours now doing loads of cutting & grinding (from varied metal thicknesses) and is easy to change discs with a positive spindle lock and tool too.
This super little angle grinder never once overheated, quit or caused me any trouble.
It's just great, lightweight, easy to use, has a long power cable too, AND has a unique patented Dust Protection System which stops dirt and gunk getting into the motor plus this tool keeps itself cool too.
Thanks Bosch for a superb well made and designed product.
If you need an angle grinder then get one of these, as you won't be disappointed!

Light usage only!
Heavy duty sadly this isn't. Well not for me anyway
The one I bought broke down after just 5 mins of light duty metal cutting (on full power, level 6).
It totally lost power and had to be restarted again, but then faded away yet again.
It wasn't over heating (at the handle) so I assumed it would be ok, but it kept cutting out... again and again, even after a rests of 5 mins.
Either the regulator unit was overheating, or the windings were so I took it apart to see.
The regulator seemed ok, with the circuit board showing no heat damage BUT armature was really very very warm (even after a rest!) - so it seems although I took great care not to really overwork this grinder (as these cheaper ones are somewhat delicate and can burn out at the slightest overload), the cooling fan inside this seems unable to keep the temperature down.
So, it's a cheap grinder (and good value at a low price), BUT if you want one that lasts AVOID this one as it's for VERY light useage only it would appear.
I was really easy on this one, however it's already gone on the scrapheap.
Having to buy a better angle grinder now....!
