Easy to do, now chilling well
Did the job as described, would probably top up two cars if aircon is still good but not great. Mine was hardly chilling to start with and I ended up emptying the bottle, the gauge adapter I already had wasn’t great, it seemed to start from mid green on the gauge for ages then to pushing orange (over full ) very quickly.
Next time I will put a thermometer on he interior vent and gradually fill until it is chilling correctly, and take less notice of the gauge.

Did the job, room for improvement
1 of 1 found this helpful They did the job, much longer than the old school spring compressors I have, Used on Zafira A front springs to replace both sides. The hooked clamps ensure the clamp remains on the spring although they didn’t sit comfortably on my springs, almost as if they were for a larger diameter spring ( one hook located the other nearly did but not quite I might be able to grind the corners for a better fit.
One clamp slides free on the thread, the other is attached, takes much longer to compress and release than the old style clamps with opposing threads.
Did the job well but with a little more thought in design and evaluation could have been a fantastic product.
