Doesn't keep muck off back
I'd looked at the standard CRUD Race Pace & decided that I needed to extra length for my 29" wheels.
Disappointed that I still get a lot of muck from the seat of my pants & all up my back. It's fitted close to the wheel in an attempt to retain muck & doesn't make any difference it is raised higher or at an angle

Irratic ecposure
1 of 3 found this helpful This is my 4th Pentax after the *isDS, K10 & K5 so I'm familiar with the controls & techniques of using Pentax cameras.
The K3 tends towards over-exposure with some shots requiring considerable post processing to get right. GREEN Mode is worst of all due to inability to adjust/compensate exposure; in all other modes, I’ve turned down the exposure by 1/3 stop so as not to blow out the highlights.
JPGs straight out of the camera are extremely disappointing.
RAW is the only way to use the K3 to allow you to adjust for what the camera fails to do properly i.e. take a well exposed shot on a consistent basis.

Tyre levers that work
Allowed me fit tyre on my rim where conventional tyre levers failed; by clipping 2 of these levers onto the rim to hold the tyre in place, the 3rd levers the tyre completely onto the rim.
