Attacked by a dog
9 of 12 found this helpful Bought this for my adult daughter who has two small rescue dogs, mixed terrier mutts. While walking the dogs in the neighborhood they were attacked by a 85 lb. aggressive dog who was in its open yard with its owner and his brother. When my daughter saw the big dog charging toward her she picked up her two dogs and turned her back to protect herself and her dogs. The big dog knocked her down and grabbed one small dog. Luckily the owner of the big dog saw this happening and he and his brother were right behind the big dog when it was running toward my daughter. It took the strength of the two adult men to get their big dog to release the small dog. The small dog had puncture wounds on its body. My daughter had four bleeding abrasions on her knees and elbows. The owner of the big dog paid the $600.00 vet bill. My daughter and I always carry the Mace gun with us whenever we walk the dogs.

Easy to use
I find that the weight if the head is just right to make the proper impression into the leather. Much less tiring to my 83 year old wrist than the rawhide mallet that this replaces. Can't beat the price.
