Versatile and reliable relays at a great price
I was just going to get one of these for a project on our narrowboat, but saw this offer for 5 and went for it because of the great value. I haven't actually done the boat project yet, but already I have used one of these relays for switching a small 12 volt pump to handle rainwater. The pump current was very near the limit for the float switch, so I simply used the float switch to activate the relay, which can handle MUCH larger currents. Result: a good rainwater harvesting system, running safely on 12 volts.

Neat and tidy surge protection
Ideal to provide surge-protected sockets for sensitive equipment! I replaced two double sockets with two of these units, to provide protected power supply for TV, recorder, DVD player, etc. All neatly done with great ease and much better than having a trailing surge-protected extension lead!

Comfortable socks
I like the idea of 'heel-less' socks, which these are. When you put them on, the heel can be in a different place each time, so wear is spread around the whole sock. As heels wear out first with me, this should mean that these socks last a little longer - time will tell! These fit fine, but could do with being a bit longer. I am a size 11 or 12, so perhaps next time I will try to get some larger pairs . . .
