Excellent bang per buck for something so handy
Small yet very bright considering how inexpensive it is and that it runs on a single AA (or a 14500 for extra brightness) battery. Zoom feature should be on every all-purpose flashlight, and this zoom has just the right amount of friction - not too tight, nor too loose. An unadvertised feature is the 3 light modes - low, bright and flashing - selected by lightly pressing the rear on/off switch. The pocket clip can be removed, although it does stop it from rolling away when placed on a flat surface.
So small it would go unnoticed in a jacket pocket, and very handy in a travel bag, car or just by the bed.

A travel backup
Pour a little of this into a small travel container and pop it into your toiletry bag. Not only will you have a reserve of shampoo and conditioner when your accommodation doesn't, but you'll not have to carry quite as much - this product does the job of shampoo and conditioner just fine. Also, a little goes a long way - lathers very nicely.
With one less task, it also means quicker showers when you're in a rush.
This particular variety is medicated - I would have preferred regular, but when it's the only one on eBay ... !

A handy addition to a kitchen countertop and table
Very handy to have both seasonings in the same dispenser, plus the added convenience of being battery powered for one-handed operation. Runs best on good quality AAA batteries. Cheap budget AAAs struggle and stall after a few runs, however Duracells last for months of daily use. In use, there is a few seconds delay when swapping between salt and pepper grinding, as the gearing no doubt re-engage since there's only one motor.
A previous grinder of the same design (but not Mastercraft branded) lasted 3 years or more before a gear inside probably failed and stripped screw heads prevented opening the casing up to see if it was repairable. No doubt the nylon gears will eventually wear out, but the previous unit did outlast another pair of separate salt and pepper battery-driven grinders, hence this choice of for a replacement.
Filling the two salt and pepper reservoirs is a bit awkward without spilling salt or pepper corns everywhere. A typical kitchen funnel doesn't work well and nor does a handcrafted paper funnel, they block too easily, however gripping the grinder tight in one hand just slightly above the pepper or salt opening, with the hollow between the thumb and forefinger forming a shallow funnel, seems to work so long as the salt or pepper corns are fed in slowly and bumped occasionally.
After a while, especially in humid air, salt residue collects around the lower part of the salt grinder and the instructions suggest occasional cleaning a damp cloth although this may mean the casing, not the grinder part itself. However, the grinder adjuster knobs can be unscrewed completely and the grinder wheel removed to make cleaning this part easier, however there's a few bits that need to be returned to the shafts in the correct order - take a note or photo of this before removing these parts.
While probably not exceptionally durable (nylon gears?), this grinder is a clever design, very handy and should last a few years and, if not overpriced, be very good value.
