New vs Old
This is a beautiful, well built knife that you can expect no less from Case,BUT! In my opinion the old world stag Case knives seemed to have more character,earthy good looks than the new.
Maybe just the ageing proses doing its beautiful work, but maybe not. I would recommend this large stockman to anyone.
Better yet make it a gift, it will not soon be forgotten.
