Excellent quality
More than 10 arrived. I kept them in the bag and didn't open them for a week because I wasn't ready to plant them. When I opened them a couple were past their best, not surprising, I should have gotten them out straight away. The rest were sprouting vigorously. I put them out and they're all doing fantastically, despite my rather shady North-facing garden. I then found one of the ones I'd originally thrown away growing well in the compost bin!
It'll be a couple of years before I get a decent crop (as is the way with asparagus). Planting crowns is so much easier than growing from seed, and cheaper than buying mature plants from a garden centre if you don't mind the wait for your crop.

Good value for money
1 of 2 found this helpful This a a very nice little tank for the cost, quite attractive. Perfect for a small quarantine tank. The only flaw is the lid which is very flimsy plastic and leaves large gaps for your wires. I bought an A3 sheet of acrylic, cut off the corners and bent the edges to make a new lid, now the tank is perfect. Obviously you're not going to fit anything other than a betta in it (at a push!), but it's good to have a small tank on hand in case you ever need it.
The filter works fine, it vibrates slightly so be careful to set it up so it doesn't lean against the sides of the tank or it will make a fair amount of noise, otherwise it's fairly quiet.
The small bag of stones were nice but wouldn't cover the bottom of the tank (I had substrate which matches my other tanks anyway). The net it comes with is tiny and made of plastic, but I didn't buy the tank for the net. I didn't even bother getting the ugly plastic plant out of the packet to be honest! On the whole though it's excellent value for money.

Beautiful fish
2 of 2 found this helpful These are really stunning platys. Easy to care for, hardy, can't go wrong with them really. They came well packaged and looking very healthy. As is typical of platys, I now have quite a few of them!
