For Woody Allen completists ONLY

This is another film which Woody Allen appeared in but didn't write. it's based on an old play which hasn't aged well. Woody's character seems too young while Peter Falk is crabbit. Am pleased I've seen this and even more pleased that I didn't shell out a lot of money for it. unfortunately might end up selling it on soon!

The Theory of Comedy in the form of a comic nove (2 for the price of 1)

Enjoyable read, nicely thought out plot and and most of the characters were engaging. The classification of Comics into Red Nose or White Face, and the Theory of Comedy was inspiring. Not a funny as I would have liked and the ending was a bit rushed. (I had to reread the last couple of chapter-ets to understand out what happened). The interruptions by the narrator broke up the flow too much and may be went on too long. but were at least resolved before the big finish. I'd definitely re-read it again and would probably get more out of it. If the Road to Mars was made into a Movie I'd definitely go a couple of times... Come on Eric quit improving Python and write more novels.
