This is my fifth one for backup data storage
I was told to get Toshiba drives by a data recovery firm when a previous manufacturer unit failed.
Ebuyer always give free next day delivery and I have used them as first choice for a few years now now.
1TB is the sweet point for cost nowadays (albeit a little small - for images) so you just need more of them. This is my fifth.

I have lots if these - they just work and do the job.
I check all drives with DriveDx on arrival - like all others, except one, this one was in perfect SMARt structural health.
This one was OK, but I have noticed LaCie have an unpredictable tendency to not be SMART compliant and its not just older drives. No response from LaCie as to why after a fortnight!
