The gauge is right and quality high
The gauge is right and the quality high for these strings. I used 10s most of my 50 years of playing and then loved the tone from 10.5s but age is catching up. A drop to 9.5 is a great comprise and the technology in NY XL strings for tone, string life and feel is up there with the best.
