Refreshingly, wonderful entertainment!
I absolutely love this series! I purchased series one and two in an effort to find something worth while to watch as today's reality tv and shopping networks dominate cable TV. To say the least, I was hooked after the first episode. As with most older movies, the story line is delivered tastefully, without crude language or uncomfortable sexual innuendos or behaviors. The scenery is beautiful and the acting and story line equally match. Land Girls is refreshing, educational and just wonderful entertainment.

Refreshing entertainment that doesn't disappoint.
3 of 3 found this helpful I have fallen in love with British movies and this series doesn't disappoint. In an effort to remedy the disappointing cable tv line up of reality shows and shopping networks, I set out to find wholesome entertainment. After the first episode, I have to say I was hooked. This series offers a story line that is addictive and the acting and scenery is equally enjoyable. The characters are adorable and easy to relate to. The only disappointment is the ending appears to be left "undone". Perhaps a second series was to come? A bit disappointing as I would have loved to had a second series.
