Genuine P1000
Having had a filter tap for many years, I am well aware of what some suppliers want to charge for the replacement cartridges. I like how my water, tea and coffee tastes as East Anglia has such hard water, my kettle also does not furrow up as much or as quickly while using filtered water. Therefore I see it as a reasonable cost to maintain the taste of filtered water, I even draw off a few litres for when I travel round the country for work, to use in my kettle.
The delivery from this supplier was prompt, and item fully as described, I intend to be re-purchasing from them when my filter is ready for replacement. Thank You

Very good for price
This was to replace where I had others before. Sadly the mounting holes were a slightly different width apart. Thinking I could re-drill a new hole... nope, the plastic cracked. I have shimmed it behind with washers and super-glued another over front of broken hole. Looks fine, only time will tell if the plastic quality means it will not last as long as the previous 2. If not for this I would have liked to give 5 stars. If this is your first and you drill your mounting holes accurately, and maybe also add shims/washers behind the holes so it fits snug to wall, I expect this to be an excellant purchase and a very good buy for the money.

Did not receive the item pictured.
The item I received was not the one shown in the picture. I had bought a few of those previously and they have lasted us well. This new one came in a plain plastic bag, and has ribs down the side by the wire, it therefore feels strange to the touch. It also feels like a lower grade of plastic for the handle, not smooth like the original. Otherwise the design is very similar, and so far it does the job like the original. The original (with Mouse packaging) I would award 5 stars but I have been critical with my scoring as it was the one pictured, in the packaging that I ordered, and I was sent an alternative, and in my opinion inferior copy.
