Detailed, clearly-explained Plant Anatomy
I have many plant anatomy/structure/physiology books and make Botanical microscope slides. This book is a real gem. It contains NO PHOTOMICROGRAPHS, instead being jammed-full of superbly-made line drawings. These drawings/diagrams elucidate the text, which is in itself comprehensive and very well-written, far more that photo-images often can, as they are far clearer and easier therefore to interpret and relate to the text.
If you're student at any level this book is invaluable. If like me you have an interest particularly in Botany and plant-sciences, this is a book for your library! This is not a book for gardening or plant-husbandry. This book is by no means over-technical and is written in a very clear manner which makes this fascinating topic not only easier, but very enjoyable and stimulating to study.
The price is very reasonable indeed - you really are 'getting your money's worth' with this superb book.
Personally, I'd recommend this book every time, it's excellent.

Excellent - 100% fit for purpose
I use these in a microscope and they have proven to be superb. The withstand being turned up & down with a dimmer, last easily as long as I would expect - I'm still only on the first bulb. They also maintain their light-colour - many bulbs either dim or change to more yellowish tones as they are used - not these. As bulbs go - I rate them as superb and worth every penny of their very reasonable price - fast delivery too!

Good Vacuum at low cost
A very nicely built and sturdy little device. Pulls a good vacuum and will hold it easily. No drawbacks for me - very satisfied with it's ease of use and build-quality. Great price too!
