Item is as described and at a good price. Haven’t tested the item as yet but it looks functional. Item arrived a week late and only after being chased.

A- seller, all perfect except for the 'interesting' packaging.Regardless, the item functions VERY well and I am VERY happy with it, good thing it survived delivery.

LOT OF 13pcs DS12887 INTEGRATED CIRCUIT - CASE: DIP TUBED - MAKE: DALLAS

Obsolete but supported
It is a relief to find new old stock hardware to keep your dependent old hardware running and Maxim battery calendar clocks are not easy to find. These DS12887 computer drop-in replacements were thankfully made obsolete after 1997 when began batteries mounted on the mainboard. Battery replacement became much easier and cheaper but still nice to be able to locate old stuff.

Excellent upgrade for socket 478
Improved Celeron 330 with bigger cache and faster memory. The hyperthreaded Prescott cored P4 at 90nm stopped at 3.067 GHz for socket 478 on a 533 front side bus but the Celeron D also 533 continued later on up to 3.2 GHz where supported by later chipsets. The secondary memory cache on die was doubled to 256kb from 128kb addressing perhaps the main weakness of the P4 Celeron and though single cored represented a low cost and low power chip with SSE2 support. This desktop version SL7NV was the E0 stepping which is better supported than the G1 stepping and ran at 2.66GHz on a quad pumped 133MHz bus but omitted all the laptop power saving features. Socket 478 is a more viable platform as a result, preserving the vale of your investment.
HIS Excalibur Ati Radeon 9200 VIVO 64Mb AGP

HIS give us a good alrounder of a dual graphics card with low power usage
Everything you do need, nothing you do not need, versatile outputs, performs well to the limits of VGA and DVI both together, or S-Video TV, though economical with power.
