Lost their original sparkle but still reasonable value for money
Bought as part of a rake of 5 coaches in this style. These are somewhat tired looking having lost some of their original sparkle, but should work well with the other three bought as new or nearly new items. They were however somewhat cheaper than most of the others so are reasonable value for money

Good detail and perfoms well
A nice well detailed model that performs well on the track and to which I have been able to fix the crew which were supplied with it.

Won't run round standard 2nd and 3rd radius curves as Bachmann's instructions promise
Whilst this is a beutifully modelled loco which runs well on the straight, it will not negotiate standard Peco set-track 2nd and 3rd radius curves, so is of no practical use as a runner on any normal layout. Bachmann's instructions clearly indicate that it should not be used on less than 2nd radius curves as is normal with this brand, but it won't manage 2nd or 3rd radius either!
