Just good enough
Brush section fine however return spring(s) bind in housing, brush armature contact intermittent. Replace with original(s) (from worn brush set) . Housing stamped from soft deformable copper not spring copper fit is not strictly correct but good enough .. a reluctant recommendation as no other supply source found.

Actually ID is 15 thou over an inch; very well made item, has an offset boss pre-drilled to take a precision 10mm retaining pin, nicely packed and arrived in a few days.
