Good pedal for the money.

This pedal is solidly built, has smooth action, and operates quietly. Other good points include the solid base, machined footboard, and hoop clamp bolt on the left, which provides easy access. One problem is that the cam and beater are attached using half inch tension rod screws. These are easily replaced with metric, hex head set screws which prevent them from hitting the footboard. Another issue is that, although it is a double chain drive, the chain guide on the cam has a ridge only on one side, so the chain will move slightly side to side depending on your foot technique.
