Works exactly as advertised

A lovely little electromagnet that works as claimed. Note that the lifting force is very small so make sure that is what you want. As you would expect from the design the strongest magnetic field is at the end of the core. It has a handy tapped (threaded) fixing hole allowing it to be easily screwed to a case or panel. Decent length of wire.
