Amazing DVD
If you like the original soundtrack of the original Records/CDs this new DVD of the live show performance will blow you away, the animation and livw actor footage intereact with the live music from the 'Black Smoke band' and the 'ULLAdubULLA' orchester, it's simply outstanding. A 'rock anthem' is the best way to describe the soundtrack and hard to think that it was wrote in 1978. With a clever mix of computer animation and a 3D head Richard Burton is brought back to life as the narrator from the original album. We witness the planning by the martians of the attack on the earth, the arrival of the first cyclinder and the fruitless fight by mankind for planet earth. When all seems lost, earth is saved by the smallest of creatures, bacteria. After watching the DVD the live show must have been excellent, without measure! Haing sat and watched the DVD I find that I have been, with the rest of my family watching this for nearly two hours, when you think only 30 or so minutes had passed. Amazing, simply amazing!
