As advertised

I have used more oil than advised, probably double, and a touch of salt when tossing chipped potatoes. The results have been to produce a chip which is not quite as good as a deep fried article but good enough to please my wife and the grandchildren. I have found that it is desireable to agitate the chips more frequently than the recipe book suggests. The big upside is no large quantities of oil to cope with. Only used for chips so far.
