In my view, these American tuners are the best brand across the board, when factoring in a few things.
Cost, for a start - they're in the medium priced bracket, and aren't exhorbitant like some.
Quality - they're absolutely consistently well designed and made and finished.
Heritage - they have been fitted on many prestige instruments for a hundred years, so have a brand recognition that we might want to associate with when making instruments - (when making a guitar, the name on the tuners is the only other brand name on the instrument, so linked by association!) They've been fitted to Martins and Gibsons and Fenders and Collings and lots of smaller, boutique companies too.
These particular 18:1 Sta-tites are the best vintage looking open head tuners I could find. They are silky smooth, very low geared (great for tuning up accurately - not so for stringing - use a string winder!) The nickel plating is super thick on the brass, and the gear mechanism is stronger and better designed than any others I've seen.
Highly recommended indeed!
ROLAND A30 MIDI KEYBOARD - UNTESTED - A 30

A classic old midi controller
Very durable metal case. Weighted keys. No hammer action. Love it!
What's more to say? It's cheap as chips, useful, and surprisingly to me, very accurate to measure directly from the edges, something normally requiring a level of precision that's rare in Chinese stuff.
