Overall very pleased with my purchase.

Bought this machine second hand to copy a large number of VHS and S-vhs tapes to DVD and to maintain my ability to play DVDs after my old recorder became unreliable. It's also ok for recording direct from Freeview to DVD or its hard drive. It's very comprehensively specified, so much so that I would expect some users to find its facilities a bit confusing and complicated.However the manual is pretty good. I'm delighted with it generally, it seems very well built and quiet in operation and stunning value for the price I paid on ebay.I believe it may actually be of Pioneer design / manufacture. The HDMI output seems to upconvert very well and I'm delighted at the little loss of quality the dubbing process is causing. The only surprise is the amount of data it seems to consume in recording programmes, apparently more than my Humax FreesatHDR does.

CP-X1250 Projector Hitachi LCD.

I did not buy the CP-X1200 projector, but a year or so ago I bought on ebay an Hitachi CP-X1250 LCD projector, for use at a local church. I later purchased a Navitar long throw lens from the manufacturers in the USA and the church is very happy with my purchases as they cost in total around half the normal price. Both items were new. They are used to project a 10' wide image with a throw of about 15 yards and the image is decently bright, even with daylight around. I use BidNip for my purchases and it serves me well, often saving substantial sums of money against a normal proxy bid.
