Tobot Athlon has Bicep Swivels?
If you like to collect Korean Transforming Robot Toys (KTRT) then you'll be aware of the Tobot brand, best selling toys for boys in Korea and slowly making their way into western markets, but after many years the franchise has now seen a spin off show in the form of Tobot Athlon featuring a family who participate in Robot Racing with their team Athlon and three Tobots Alpha, Beta and Theta, this guy is Beta he is a Blue Kia Optima touring car and transforms into a big blue robot, he's quite a character on the show and fancies him self as a Rapper and likes to bust out some rhymes when he has the time, his toy is quite large (equivalent to a leader class Transformer) he is very colourful and very well made with nice shiney robust plastic, the transformation is not too difficult and fairly intuative and as most Korean Transforming toys of this ilk tend to be missing certain intermediate articulation joints that transformers toys these days take for granted this guy just so happens to have an extra articulation joint than other Tobots in that he has bicep swivels which are part of his door transformation so are there as a coincidence but they do add an extra dynamic to the posing options for this toy otherwise he has all the usual limitations of a KTRT he also has a extra gimmick in the small Mind car that slots into a flap in his chest in the show the mind car is the brain of the robot which is usually out when the family is at home, this toy also comes with a sheet of racing decals you can apply to the car as you wish but if you want to apply the stickers to look like the CGI character model on the TV show you sadly don't get enough of the necessary decals to do this properly which is a shame but other than that this is a great toy and a different slant on the Tobot show

Way better than the Warrior class...
If you have bought into the Robots In Disguise 2015 TV show and Toy Line then you'll be aware of how underwhelming the Warrior Class Grimlock is? It's an OK toy in it self but it's too small to scale directly with the other Warrior autobots and lacking in paint apps... Well this rendition fixes most of the issues with the Warrior toy it's Bigger and a lot better painted, it's a heavily remoulded version of Fall of Cybertron Voyager Grimlock and as such still has some of the failings of that mould most notably the gaping hole in the underside of dino mode but given that it's mostly moulded in black plastic this void is less noticeable being mostly in hidden in shadow, the engineering on the mould has been slightly tweeked and as such does work better than the FOC toy, this guy is getting a western release as part of a premium two pack with Bumblebee but they have repainted it further and to me the premium one don't look right? So if your on the fence of getting a Voyager Grimlock for your RID bot line up I'd go for this one it's the best of the bunch 😊

A great little Headlamp
1 of 1 found this helpful A nice cheap led headlamp with good quality comfortable to wear and with an adjustable 3 function bright LED beam to point where your looking, 3x AAA batteries which are easy to change and have a long battery life, thoroughly recommended
