Excellent amp, worth owning
Good integrated amp. Also great as pre amp. Modern features and inputs. Excellent headphone socket.

Not good enough
I was attracted by the price, but the product is disappointing, for the following reasons:
The plug socket on mine doesn't seem to fit the mini jack on my headphones properly. It didn't 'push home' in a satisfactory way. You are not sure if the correct connection has been made.
I found it degraded the signal and made it distorted and focussed on the mid-range. To check this I listened to the system without the extention cable and all was restored.
In my opinion this product is unsatisfactory.

Excellent floor standing speakers
The speakers are medium-sized floor standers. They are not especially heavy. Mine came without the connects for the terminals if you don't want to bi-wire, so I had to purchase those separately. I do not know how old the speakers are or what they cost new. They are not perhaps the most beautiful speakers, they are functional rather than aesthetically pleasing. Initially I used them with an integrated amplifier and they sounded pretty good. However, the sound improved significantly when I connected a quality pre/power amplifier set up. 70 watts rms appears to be sufficient to drive them very loud, if required. These speakers have detail, clarity, power and they convey a sense of rhythm. I consider them to be fully up to the standard of contemporary speaker products costing as much as £2K. I paid a very reasonable price for a used pair and I have no plans to upgrade any time soon. An excellent used buy, in my opinion, but you do need a quality amplifier to hear them at their best.
