Great product for converting analog audio video to digital.
1 of 1 found this helpful This product allows one to take old analog videos on VHS, MiniDV, etc, and convert it to digital format. The hardware is easy to use and the software is easy to install. While perhaps a bit complicated for one who is unfamiliar with similar software, it is fairly intuitive, and once you play around with it, you'll get used to it. Easily allows one to edit videos and convert them to various formats, and also has many other features handy for making videos to put on YouTube and similar websites.
There are also a number of helpful videos on YouTube about using this product.
UPDATE: After using the Pinnacle software for a good while, I have to issue a word of caution. It's not the fault of my computer, but the fault of lousy software. Crashes often, glitches in the middle of converting a video to digital from an analog format causing the whole file to corrupt and having to start over.
Apparently there is a way to use the Dazzle 100 with Windows Movie Maker, and I am in the process of figuring out how to do so. I can't imagine a program being worse than Pinnacle. Very frustrating.
