the two parts came apart almost straight away. Incredibly flimsy things.

not easy to use.
I wanted this for glazing and old greenhouse, which means you have to apply it to the aluminium section to prevent a glass on metal contact. The old plastic stuff that came with the green house was brittle and a lot was missing, so I decided on this as the most likely substitute. It has a very shallow channel, and the edges of the channel are touching each other. This means that, in the first place, it is difficult to get on, especially with an old greenhouse that is no longer shiny, and secondly, it comes off again far too easliy. After spending a good five minutes putting on two fairly short lengths, I was rather irritated when one fell off again while i was sorting out the glass. I actually went back to using the better bits of the old plastic strip before going back to this. It does the job, but I really can not recommend it for an old greenhouse unless you are very patient

what ?
Last time I had to repair an exhaust was over 20 years ago, and it worked then ? Is this the same product ? I remember it as being effective. This is just awful. It does not stick to anything, including itself, It arrived in a fused mass that would only come apart with force and then most of the backing came off, hard to tell what was the back and what was the front. Repair was in a tricky place and it need to stick to itself just a little bit but no chance.
