Political comedy! absolutely- - and none better!

This movie, “Our Man in Havana “ is an excellent piece of movie craftsmanship. As a wry work of English comedy it is probably unsurpassed. Sorry I couldn’t praise it with whole rows of 5stars, but I was expecting one of Carol Reeds serious political dramas. Didn’t expect a work of tongue-in-cheek comedy. For what it is, it couldn’t be improved Enjoy!

This was one of those “existential “ dramas that falls on its face. If you’re looking for a movie that leaves you feeling sad, this is a good one to start with.

This movie was a pleasant surprise! While expecting a juvenile mashup of kid stuff with a little profanity and sex thrown in, the story actually unfolded apace with the expected comedy style presentation by actors— but not so excessive that it detracts from the storytelling. Good gags and adequate acting.
