KitchenAid Refurbished Pro 600 Series 6 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer, RKP26M1X
    14 May, 2020
Works well, easy to use. Noisy when kneading bread & pizza dough.
Two weeks in and we love our Kitchen-Aid Pro 600 Series 6qt Stand Mixer. (If anything changes, we will come back and update or post a new review.) We purchased this mixer to use for mixing/kneading bread & pizza dough during the Covid19 quarantine and it works like a charm. The only negative is how noisy the machine becomes when it's under a load (kneading dough) the noise (gears whining+electric motor) would have been concerning if we had not researched and understood this would be the case. Consumer Reports warned of the noisiness and indicated that the 5qt Stand Mixer is a quieter option. We only make bread/pizza dough a few times each week limiting the amount of time the machine runs and are able to tolerate the noise, which we considered an acceptable trade off for the additional capacity. The mixer makes considerably less noise when mixing less dense products such as cake batter. Another reason we selected the larger mixer is, it has a higher output electric motor that should better tolerate the amount of load stress the mixer is under while kneading dough which gives the motor a considerable workout.

SA186 How to Rebuild & Modify GM Turbo 400 Transmissions Street Strip Drag Race
    18 Aug, 2023
This is the ultimate "How To Book" to study before attempting to rebuild a TH400 transmission. Clear instructions, tips and pics make it seem simple.
Cliff provides clear and concise instructions explaining disassembly and assembly with photos detailing the entire process. I especially like that there are special notes and image tags to highlight critical steps, measurements and procedures. I sincerely doubt that a better "How To" book can be written for the TH400 Transmission. This is the one to buy! Gary B.
