Great for specific lenses, or to create macro lenses
This adapter only fits around small-diameter lens rears, so it did not work for the purpose that I originally purchased it. But when inverted (installed backward) it turns a regular lens into a macro, and only loses about 1 to 1.5 stops of light, which is awesome! Just filmed on it, and the results were amazing.

High-quality durable construction, locks down much tighter than similarly priced competition.
I've tried 4 different brands of rear PL-Mount lens caps. Most of the competition are cheap plastic that you should avoid at all costs -- because they break easily. (We had a $10,000 lens arrive from shipping with one of those plastic rear caps shattered inside the case. It was a heart-attack).
These caps shine because they are strong and durable. Also, this *improved* design does as advertised -- it locks down nice and tight, which again is incredibly important when you are moving fast on-set. You don't want to pick up a lens and have the rear cap fall into dust or dirt -- which can easily happen with the Fotodiox brand.
After trying multiple others, I highly recommend sticking to these for all your lenses!
