Fun classic, sequel improves on already good gameplay
4 of 4 found this helpful Classic PS1 game. The sequel to Crash Bandicoot is a huge improvement on the already great first game. There's more voicing acting, more cutscenes, more levels, and improved gameplay mechanics. If you loved the first one, you'll love this one. Like the first game, the sequel is filled with unlockable game elements and plenty of secrets to uncover, adding a lot of replay value to the game. You can have up to four save slots per memory card. Levels are fun and some are very challenging. The game is appropriate for all ages, though some of the later levels may be too difficult for younger kids. I would also recommend this game if you enjoy the PS1 Spyro games.

Great game selection and awesome at space-saving
Playstation 1 has a great game selection. Plenty of fun titles to pick up that go for pretty cheap these days. The mini is great because it takes up about half the space of the full sized console. If your short one space or just like more compact/slim models, get the mini. The standard controller can seem small compared to some other controllers, which could be a down-side for some. Larger controllers do exist for the system, but you may have to do a bit of searching. Of course, the controller size can be a bonus for some. Adults with small hands and children will find the PSOne controllers to be very comfortable to use.

Fun classic that appeals to all ages
The Crash games of the PS1/Naughty Dog era are the best of all the Crash games made. The original game is a class with fun gameplay and a visually stunning setting. The game is filled with silly humor and will entertain people of all ages. Gameplay is easy enough that children will quickly get the hang of it. Levels get progressively harder as you make your way across the three islands. There's plenty of bonus and secret things to find and complete, giving the game a good replay value. Fans of the original Spyro trilogy will likely enjoy the game too for it's humor and atmosphere. You can save your progress in the game, but not as frequently as in the later games. The game employs a password system alongside the ability to save to a memory card.
