Good 1st camera for 9 year old
Bought this for 9 year old to take on school residential trip. School recommended disposables, but for less than £20 second hand she gets to practise taking photos with a "real" camera which she can keep. If lost, it's no disaster, and I don't have to pay to print any unsuccessful shots. Other reason for choosing this camera was because it takes batteries, so no need to send her with cables requiring plug-in. As a camera I wouldn't buy it for myself now, as there are much better, newer models out there, but for a child just starting out, where a "perfect shot" is fairly elusive anyway, this was the perfect choice. Really happy with it, and I chose it over others because it's a Canon and that's always been a reliable brand for me.
