Use this for monitoring conditions in my shed. Quite easy to set up and use. In use for nearly 2 weeks without a problem.

Simple to set up and use. Reliable so far after two weeks use. Sensor only suitable for indoor use / sheds / greenhouses and temperature and humidity readings compare favourably to my traditional instrument readings so is quite accurate. Good value for money.

Disappointed

Arrived with un drilled piñon meaning can’t attach tooling. Also box marked made in China so clearly not made in Germany as ebay description in fairness they offered to replace but I managed to drill the pinion to the size I wanted. Disappointed as I paid for German engineering and ended up with made in China. Max effort I can apply ia to pierce a 3/8 dia hole in 1.6 mm aluminium which equates to about 0.6 tonnes. So the 1 tonne rating is probably more reflective of what the tool can withstand rather than the efffort a 13st (80 kg KG) person can apply. I since made various punch tools from hardened and tempered silver steel which does the job fine. There is play at the start of the stroke and tightness at the end so I think the pinion rack on the lever is probably eccentric which doesn't help matters. For the money its Ok, depends what you want it for but be prepared to tune it up to provide the results and accuracy you need. Overall 3/5 for me.
