Practise makes perfect - kind of...
There is no way on this earth that it works like the various YouTube clips show you. It might be because I'm using the heart shape template so I can't speak for the circle one, but it really does take some practise getting it cut the way you want. I still haven't given it enough time but I've managed to cut some semi not torn hearts and it did cut a good Victorian border because the blade stays in the same direction. Perhaps Fiskars could design a better more pointed heart template or give more flexibility/mobility to the blade within the cutter OR a put cog on the Shape Cutter blade that moves against a grooved edge on the template when it comes to cutting into a bend because the blade doesn't want to follow, even though by logic it should.
