Excellent piano sound, lightweight, useful voices/rhythms and realistic key feel.
1 of 1 found this helpful Excellent sound. My son and I eschew electronic pianos because they never sound like the real thing. This one is extremely close.
The keys are weighted in a way that feels like a piano.
The built-in speakers sound really good, and are a nice plus for everyday use when not in a gig or for practice. No amp needed.
The rhythmic features with a walking bass added on make for an unbelievably good small ensemble sound and there is a good selection of rhythms to choose from.
Rated a 4 because the patches are only accessible in groups, by pushing a given button (e.g., Piano) repeatedly to get the different patches. So if you want to couple two patches they have to be in different groups. Choral and Strings are in the same group, so you can't have choral and string voices playing at the same time. For this, the CP-33 is much easier to use. (They both have nearly all the same features, as far as patches/voices.) But if 26 lb is more your speed than 39 lb (CP-33), and you don't need a bend wheel (not on P-125), and you can deal with the more "hidden" features of the P125, it is an easier instrument to live with and it sounds great.

Button is cheap, feels loose, lots of travel.
