Which Braun shaver to buy?
I previously had a 3 series shaver, which lasted over 10 years before the battery life became poor, although still ok if plugged in. The 7 series seemed good value, compared to the 9 series, and a bit of research showed users were equally, if not more, satisfied with the 7 model. It's light and gives a great shave, with 3 intensity modes, just in case you forgot to shave over the weekend. There's a visual display showing the level of charge remaining and one for how badly it needs to be cleaned. It has a combined foil and cutter with an indicator that will tell you when it needs replacing. The replacement cost is a reasonable £22-£25 and easy to obtain.
I'm not a huge fan of the clean and charge system, as it takes up space and you can't take it on holiday easily, but it's a good way to ensure a hygienic cleanse of the foil and cutter.
If I'm being picky, there wasn't a brush included, but these are cheap and only for use on the body of the shaver, and there is no plastic foil protector, although there is a case supplied for transporting the shaver. The charging cable isn't coiled, (1st shaver I've ever had without a coiled one), but that will mean that the plug won't pop out of the socket when reachng for the mirror to shave, if you've forgotten to charge it!
Very pleased with this 7 790-4 shaver and I'd certainly recommend it.

Good quality and value for money
These are far better quality than the ones they replaced, with brass hose connectors and metal body they should give a good life span, especially as they're left outside in all weather. One little niggle is clip that keeps the water flowing without holding down the handle, as it's really fiddly to click it back out from the handle, otherwise I would've given it 5 stars.

Great value for money
Delivered really quickly and very pleased with the picture quality from the dish. Twin white cable means it looks neater than separate ones and it helps that my house is white!
Instructions are ok, but not brilliant. I bought stainless steel wall fixing bolts to avoid any future problems from corrosion and staining of the wall.
