You get what you pay for.

Very poor quality picture at night, it would be very hard to read a number plate. The unit I bought kept turning off, I had to send it back, I would not recommend this.

Rock on Rocksmith

Rocksmith is an excellent learning tool, you straight away get to learn riffs and play along, it adjusts for any level of the players ability and is easy to pick up, you can even buy coloured guitar strings to match the game if you wish. If you miss a few notes the tempo slows a little for you until you get it right, great stuff. I did however have a little problem getting Rocksmith to run properly first off though but a quick search found the answer, I followed instructions and changed the latency setting in the setup files and it's now perfect. A great tool!

Mechanical mastery.

I was a little hesitant to spend close to £70 on a replacement set of machine heads when the Grovers I had on my Epiphone LP were top quality anyway but, I took the plunge I cannot fault these D'addario Planet waves auto trim locking machine heads. The quality is absolutely superb, they look the part in black & chrome and feel the part too, smooth and stylish! The locking auto trim works perfectly, I can honestly say it would probably take you longer to unravel the high 'E' string from its pack than it will to fit it ready to tune, which by the way takes a turn or so, plus the loose end is cut off for you - fact! These are a must for pro's gigging or for anyone that likes good quality kit. Regards Woodie.
