One nice Dutch Oven
2 of 2 found this helpful When we received the Dutch Oven, we immediately could tell that it had been seasoned at the factory. Following the inclosed instructions, we applied our own cooking oil and set it on the cooktop over a low heat as additional seasoning.
We have since used the Dutch Oven a couple of times with success. First to brown and slow cook some spare ribs in a spicy Latin sauce. Yumm, good and “no sticking” occurred even after two hours cooking time. The second time was more of a tradional Navy bean soup from scratch. They also turned out great without sticking.
Again following the instructions included with the pot, we lightly washed and reoiled the pot and put it over a low heat to insure complete drying of the pot after each use.
We highly recommend this product !!!
