Excellent Ford Part- Needs longer bolts.
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a legit Ford motor company manufactured part, with I was surprised by. It is not some cheap knock off aftermarket add on. That being said, it is an exact fit to any year or model Ford truck having the same rear end. Here is what you need to know. The 3/4 in. stock bolts for the 1/8 in. thick OEM cover (at least for my 05 f250) are not long enough to even show thread on this aluminum cover. You need something at least 1-1/4 in. long. I picked some chrome bolts up from the local ACE hardware. They have a huge selection of thread cut, style, and length. The auto parts store had nothing.
Other than the bolts, fantastic product! Looks sharp, won't rust, and holds oil.

Not entirely what It looks to be.
Yes, the lenses are interchangeable. However, it is not a simple process.
In the item pictures it appears that the lenses are set in a frame which would lock or maybe seat in the structure of the glasses. This is not the case. The lenses are normal bare plastic lenses and have to be pried out rather forcefully to change them. Not exactly an easy process and I do anticipate the lenses or frame breaking eventually from the process. I give the product three stars because it is mostly as described, but far from military grade.
