I am kind of a tomboy but glad to be a housewife & mom. I have always loved animals, loved to draw, write, and be outdoors from dawn to dusk. I especially love dogs (terriers in particular), horses, whitetail deer & birds. I suffer from chronic pain issues so this is a way for me to help a little with household income.

Battery compartment poor design. Batteries do not fit & won’t make contact
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this along with the usb rechargeable one (which works fine) intending to compare brightness and battery life to see which one I preferred but I can’t even get this one to work. Here’s why. The description and box say AAA batteries (which are about 44.5mm). The battery compartment itself is labeled AA batteries and of course those are more like 50mm long. So they actually sort of might have reached the contact points if it weren’t for the fact that the + contact points were too far under the lip of the housing so that the wider battery body of the AA prevented it from sliding underneath the edge and making contact anyway.
Very occasionally with the AA I was able to briefly force a contact with my fingers so I know the batteries had charge and the unit was turned on, but it would not stay on or stay flashing.
Seller then tried to get me to go on a hunt for a battery that would fit, and seemed to think maybe I have the wrong batteries (I sent pictures including the AA & AAA label clearly) as if these are some rare specialized hard to find batteries. I don’t get it, and the absurdity of arguing over something so utterly basic. Cheaply made product.

Works but helps to have assistance to get strap positioned correctly
Helps with the fact that one of my straps is always slipping off. Feels a little weird but works and you get used to it.
