Hello from the 'Transport Historian.'

I am a Specialist private seller of Transport and Spotting books, offering a broad selection of second-hand titles covering all modes of transportation.

I am also the webmaster of the Information Resource Website 'World of Transport Books' and a major contributor to the 'Famous Ian Allan Books' website run by my friend and colleague, Richard B. Cunningham (Ebay name usabcman)

My only sales outlet is ebay and all books are offered at 'Buy It Now' prices which includes free postage to the UK.

While I may not be the cheapest seller out there, I pride myself in my accuracy of detail. My book descriptions are always very thorough, (warts and all!) so my customers always know exactly what they are buying.

McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Since 1920 by Rene J. Francillon (Hardback, 1979)

Epic Historical Aircraft Tome
The original one-volume version of this book is an epic in Aircraft Manufacturing History. If you can get this edition for around £20 then you have an excellent bargain, especially if you are a nostalgic transport man like me! A bit bulky to hold upright when reading in bed but not too bad if you can read laying on your side. Spine of the dust jacket is invariably sun-faded but this takes nothing away from the fantastic content within the book itself. Francillon was a superb aircraft historian. Highly recommended!

A great Rare Title from the 1900 - 1980 Wonder Book series
For those of you out there who collect Ward Lock Wonder Books this is an unusual and rare title. It was one of eight that appeared in the final 1980s series - the others being Cars, Trains, Dinosaurs, Horses, Ships, Aircraft and Animals. This is a great addition to anyone's Wonder Book collection covering the majority of the most well-known battles throughout History in a non-complicated factual and well illustrated format aimed at older children. A great book if you can find it!
