Strut brace design flaw
The brace itself is well made and is of good quality, even the feet look great. However when fitted it fouls up on two points. The first is you have to cut/trim some of the plastic scuttle panel away to make it fit although it still quite close to the actual body work and metal loom bracket. Second is that it actually sits on top of the brake fluid reservoir cap making it impossible to get to with removing the brace bar. Interesting to see how it would look after a trip to a local garage for brake repairs! There are cheaper alternatives and better designed braces available.

Genuine replacement part
I wanted a genuine replacement part so it suited my needs.

Replacement wheel cap centres
Great replacement for the original at a fraction of the cost. They don’t look too bad either. But you have to remember they are not genuine.
