It’s ok, just not as good as the original Walthers cars
While these are the Cheaper versions of the Walthers cars, and you “can run them on 18” radius” track if you have to. For those of us that are looking for the original cars, these are a bit of a pain. By the time some eBay people admit the car they are selling is in fact a Mainline car, we have wasted our time, others do not know the difference.
If we do buy one, it costs us a lot more to buy the needed parts and trucks to make these into the models that we would like to have next to our other very nice Walthers cars we have all worked so hard to build and enjoy.
Basically, this is a shabby way for Walthers to make more money off of everyone. These cars should sell for $15 to $20 each as it takes another $25 to buy the trucks and detail kits to make them look like the models they have the ability to be. Otherwise, they are not worth being called a Walthers passenger car.
