Very quiet alternative

These worked as advertised and are significantly more quiet than the R version. If your rack server is freaking you out with noise, get a pair of these and halve the noise.

Good as a dumb switch, I've known trees that are smarter than this switch.

If you want a managed switch buy something else. If you just need a dumb 24-port switch this will work just fine. Do yourself a favor and google "Powerconnect 2724 problems."
