A revelation
CPE Bach is vastly unknown and underrated. Even in a few days this has become one of my favourite sets. The inventiveness of his music in that transitional period between baroque and classical is remarkable.

Moderately interesting, in parts
The author presents, for the Christian, a very chilling view of how (quickly and without our noticing) Christianity has been not just marginalized but, in some cases, treated as ‘the problem’. He recognizes that in some cases (a sense of entitlement, misuse of power) some people who claim to be Christians have behaved badly. His solution seems to be to recognize that Christians are certain to face persecution and to hope that non-Christians will see in the lives of Christians something which encourages them to become Christians. This is the weakest part of the book - and ignores the very real risk that numbers and profile could be so depleted that a come-back becomes even more difficult. This (slightly repetitive, though short) book raises points for discussion.
